2018 central american and caribbean games soccer scheduleTrinidad & Tobago’s men’s and women’s teams made the trip to Colombia for this year’s edition of the CAC Games; hoping to at least advance past the group stage. After evaluating several coaches at local schools and understanding the challenges these coaches often face, we focused on two main areas. First, we wanted to help Naz expand the number of games in their curriculum, while showing them how each game can have several progressions and can be used to teach numerous social messages. Next, we challenged the coaches to problem solve, to use critical thinking, and to ask players important questions to initiate meaningful conversation about important issues.
The women’s best finish at the CAC Games came in 2010 when they picked up silver medals, losing to Venezuela in the final in Puerto Rico. The men’s best finish was also silver medal performance …
